There are two options available to you, both having their own benefits.
Getting to and from Tydon Safari Camp by Road
Our specially selected vehicle fleet that seats either 4 or 6 passengers only, will ensure that the journey to Tydon Safari Camp is a more personal and comfortable experience. We will collect you from the OR Tambo Airport or the hotel you are staying at in the nearby surroundings and leave behind a bustling Johannesburg and head East toward the Kruger National Park and Sabi Sand Game Reserve.
The journey to Tydon Safari Camp takes approximately 5 hours by road and allows you to witness beautiful landscapes en route.
Your return journey to Johannesburg will see us travel back via the scenic panorama route, which includes stops at Lisbon Falls, Gods Window and the quaint town of Graskop for lunch. After lunch we make our way towards Johannesburg travelling through small towns and villages, arriving in Johannesburg at approximately 5:00pm, where you will be dropped off either at the Airport or at the Hotel you will be staying in.
Getting to and from Tydon Safari Camp by Air
Departing from Johannesburg’s OR Tambo airport, the brief flight to Nelspruit airport gives you just about enough time to read the in-flight magazine.
Arriving at Nelspruit airport you will be met by one of our friendly staff who will be easily identifiable by their uniform they will be wearing and the board they are holding up with your name on it.
Leaving the airport, an approximate hour drive will see us arrive at Tydon Safari Camp.
On the last day of your safari, you will be transferred back to the Nelspruit Airport after breakfast for your flight back to Johannesburg.
