A variety of fresh sandwiches, fresh salads, fruits and fruit salads will be served. Ice-cold beverages and fruit juices are available for purchase.
A crackling campfire and flickering lanterns set the mood for dinner under the African skies, while the sounds of nocturnal animals calling in the distance can often be heard. In true safari style we all eat together around the boma.
Traditional South African food is generally cooked over an open fire or in a three-legged pot (or potjie), so meat tends to be served in either stewed or grilled form.
