The weather is a variable which is out of our control, however the seasons do tend to follow a fairly consistent pattern. The first thing to remember is that regardless of the seasons, layers of different items of clothing are the real trick to being comfortable on safari. Clothes should be easy to launder and reasonably hard wearing. Avoid nylon and other synthetics which can be uncomfortable in the hot weather.

Temperatures drop as the sun goes down so we advise a light fleece/warmer top and long pants for the evenings, especially during the early morning and evening game drives. Blankets and ponchos are provided on the game viewing vehicles.
